Description
French Art Deco Curule BenchBench from France Art Deco period. This piece has a wood frame that has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish. There are gold leaf detailing on the curule legs as well. The bench is upholstered in the original Fortuny blue and white fabric in good condition. Overall, this piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
