The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The concept is great, the item is sub par.
Size: Fit for Silverado 2020-2025 GMC Sierra 2019-2121
I bought this for a 2021 Silverado WT thinking I'd be able to screw this into the dash cubby as the adhesive wouldn't servive -50⁰ F Fairbanks winters. Beware, if you own this truck, you have to remove the entire dash assembly to include instrument cluster and infotainment system in order to screw this into the cubby. The cubby on this model is actually apart of the entire upper dash panel and cannot be removed separately as the instructions state.
I decided I'd give the adhesive pad a try until I bought some self tapping screws but the mount is not contoured like my cubby, therefore it badly rocks.
I don't recommend this to anyone with a 2021 Silverado WT unless they want to spend over 3 hours installing this.
