Butterfly taxidermyA rare French antique insects display dating to the 1940's 1960's. The shadow box shows the development of a butterfly from the Pieridae family. The old school entomology work has been set under glass. The box has been produced by the school equipment factory "Pierron" which was founded in France in 1871.
