Casa alle Vacche - Crocus Riserva (Vernaccia)Mature white wine with an expansive, fine fruity and penetrating nose. Its medium bodied palate offers extraordinary notes of toasted almond, pineapple and dried yellow stone fruit. An almond note and a hint of dried sage give the wine the typical bitter finish of the Vernaccia di San Gimignano wines. Only the best quality grapes grown in a small parcel where old vines reside are vinified for this wine, which is aged no less than 12 months in oak.
